What we've done
Telemark productions fall into three main areas:
Experiential Events
Telemark has staged a wide variety of events that have enabled consumers to have a positive and real experience of a brand.
Innovate and Inspire
The Giant Sleepover
Telemark founded and co-owns this annual world record breaking event, now in its fifth year. Giant Sleepover involves 45,000 children, participating in the largest simultaneous sleep over at 1,500 schools in 20 countries across the world. Telemark co-ordinates the activity across all participating schools and manages involvement from major third party brands which this year included BT, Woolworths and Aquafresh. The Giant Sleepover is endorsed by all major youth groups and this year raised £100,000 for nominated Giant Sleepover charity, ChildLine.
We slept over in a real Court Room! The jury found The Giant Sleepover guilty of organising a great event and the judge “ordered” that there be another one next year!
St Patrick’s (Broughshane) Guides
Treasure Chest items were great, leaders were glad to give them out and the children loved the items. This was the first time we were involved with The Giant Sleepover but the whole event was brilliant.
32nd Company Girls' Brigade Sheffield
Vertex Land, Sea and Air Client Away Days.
Vertex are a cutting edge law firm who like to do things differently. They briefed Telemark to shake up their annual client party and in response Telemark have staged two events which engaged, surprized and exhilarated clients.
On the "Sea" day clients arrived at the Rochester Queen, moored on the Medway, expecting sedate drinks but were instead scrambled onto Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) and driven at speed down to Chatham Docks for a lively cocktail party.
On the "Land Day" clients were taken to a secret location, given a map and a Landrover and, with an instructor, drove round an off road course fulfilling rock climbing, archery and ferret racing tasks en route to their gastro pub supper.
This year's "Air Event" took on a Battle of Britain theme linked to the event's Kent location and September timing. Guests rendezvoused at a Kentish pub frequented by Battle of Britain pilots. When assembled they received a surprize telephone call and were scrambled into an awaiting fleet of WWII military jeeps and driven in convoy onto the airfield at nearby Biggin Hill airport. Here they watched an amazing flying display by the Grace spitfire and were then taken to a War Room where they were divided into squadrons to compete in a Battle of Britain quiz, fly in a genuine spitfire simulator and take on "rations" of Beef Wellington, Spotted Dick and Spitfire Ale.
Sky Movies Stunt Day
Telemark staged a stunt themed day to generate national press for forthcoming action films. Journalists were taken to a disused airfield and trained to complete classic stunts including being thrown over a car bonnet, detonating explosives, running from fireballs and performing in fight scenes. This event generated significant press coverage.
Other Projects
Telemark have staged the Berkshire Golden Youth Event involving 5,000 children participating in 32 sports to mark the Queen’s Jubilee Tour.
We have also provided customer loyalty focussed events for Berkley Homes residents and the local community, including a November 5th fireworks display on the Thames for 10,000.
